I'm delighted to be working with a well-established insurance broker looking to appoint a sales leader to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of its Yorkshire operation.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded Regional Managing Director, helping to shape the sales strategy across four regional offices while leading and developing a team of Account Executives with varying levels of experience. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll continue to manage your own established portfolio of commercial clients, generating approximately £200,000 in income, giving you the opportunity to remain client-facing while influencing the wider direction of the business.
The Opportunity
- Lead, coach and support a team of Commercial Account Executives across three Yorkshire offices
- Work closely with the Regional Managing Director and Branch Managers to develop and deliver the regional growth strategy
- Mentor and develop both established and emerging Account Executives, helping them maximise performance and achieve their potential
- Manage your own portfolio of commercial clients, maintaining strong relationships while identifying opportunities for growth
- Encourage collaboration across the regional offices, promoting best practice and a consistently high level of client service
- Play an active role in identifying new business opportunities and supporting wider business development initiatives
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Commercial Insurance professionals who have a proven track record of winning, retaining and developing commercial clients. Previous leadership experience would be advantageous, although this could also suit a Senior Account Executive who has mentored colleagues, led projects or is ready to take the next step into management. You'll be someone who enjoys developing people, building strong relationships and contributing to the long-term success of the wider business.
