A market-leading distributor within the industrial and manufacturing sector is looking to appoint a Regional Account Manager to manage and grow a territory across King's Lynn and the surrounding areas.
This is a field-based role with a combination of customer visits and home working.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, increasing spend across key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within a well-established territory.
The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to work with a broad range of manufacturing and industrial customers, helping them reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and maintain operational performance through effective supply solutions.
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving regional growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across the territory
- Increase revenue and maximise share of wallet within existing accounts
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify opportunities and provide commercial solutions
- Work closely with suppliers and internal product specialists to deliver value-added support
- Promote a wide range of industrial products and services to manufacturing and engineering customers
- Utilise CRM systems to effectively manage customer activity, opportunities, and performance
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs

- Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B Account Management, Field Sales, Business Development, or Territory Sales
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A commercially focused and target-driven approach
- Experience managing a geographical sales territory
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently while managing a busy customer portfolio
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial distribution, MRO, PPE, tooling, consumables, or related sectors would be advantageous
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity
- Full UK driving licence
