PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Sales Planning team and Production Manager to forecast and allocate resources required to meet sales demands.
- Develop and issue work orders to all relevant departments, ensuring production schedules align with customer requirements.
- Create and distribute work orders and supporting documentation to facilitate production in line with sales forecasts.
- Allocate stock to work orders; identify and communicate potential issues to support teams, and work together to provide solutions when challenges arise.
- Continuously monitor the production plan, identify underproduction or overproduction risks, and propose actionable solutions to maintain efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement of the production planning process to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to the transition and implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring planning workflows are well-defined and ready prior to system go-live.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel.
- Experience working within an ISO9001:2015-certified environment or a general understanding of ISO regulated environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform effectively under pressure.
