CRA Consulting is partnering with a respected regional law firm in Lincoln to recruit a Private Family Solicitor to join its expanding Family department.

The firm has built an excellent reputation throughout Lincolnshire for providing pragmatic, client-focused legal advice and has developed a loyal client base through its personable approach and consistently high standards of service.

As demand for the department continues to grow, the firm is looking to appoint a solicitor who enjoys building lasting client relationships and providing clear, practical advice across a broad range of privately funded family matters.

The Opportunity

Joining an experienced and collaborative team, you'll take responsibility for your own caseload of private family matters while benefiting from the support of knowledgeable colleagues whenever needed.

The role offers a varied workload, genuine client contact from day one and the opportunity to continue developing your expertise within a well-established practice.

Your caseload is likely to include

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Matrimonial finance
  • Private children matters, including Child Arrangements Orders
  • Cohabitation and separation disputes
  • Pre and post-nuptial agreements
  • Domestic abuse and injunction applications
  • General private family law advice
  • What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Family team, you'll

  • Manage a varied caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • Provide practical, commercially minded and empathetic advice tailored to each client's circumstances.
  • Draft legal documents, applications and supporting evidence.
  • Negotiate settlements and seek constructive resolutions wherever possible.
  • Represent clients throughout proceedings, including court attendance where appropriate.
  • Deliver an exceptional standard of client care and maintain strong long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with colleagues to support the continued success and growth of the department.
  • Assist with networking and business development opportunities where appropriate.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor status in England &Wales.

  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
