Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global organisation within the medical devices and life sciences sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, NPD Project Manager, Medical Devices Project Manager, Life Sciences Project Manager, or Technical Project Manager to lead a varied portfolio of New Product Development (NPD) projects within a highly regulated environment.

Working with cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative products from concept through to launch.

  • Key Duties
  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, MDR regulations, FDA requirements, and internal quality processes.
  • Maintain project governance, reporting, documentation, and project controls.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure milestones are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Communicate project progress effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Science, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects within a matrix organisation.
  • Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within medical devices, life sciences, healthcare, or diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations, including MDR, FDA, and ISO standards.
  • Experience managing New Product Development (NPD) projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with international or geographically dispersed teams.
