Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded automotive business based in Poole. Our client is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy and friendly aftersales team.
Operating within a long-established, family-run automotive business with an excellent reputation for customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join a professional and supportive working environment.
Working from a busy Service Centre, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a smooth, transparent and professional experience throughout their vehicle's service, MOT or repair journey.
Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle's service, MOT or repair journey.
- Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments efficiently.
- Liaise closely with technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure work progresses smoothly and customers are kept informed.
- Provide clear and accurate estimates for servicing, maintenance and repair work.
- Explain any additional work identified and obtain customer authorisation where required.
- Prepare invoices and clearly explain completed work and associated costs to customers.
- Promote and upsell additional products, maintenance and services where appropriate.
- Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates regarding vehicle progress.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained from initial booking through to vehicle collection.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, technicians and colleagues across the business.
The Package:
- Salary: £36,000 Basic + bonus - £40,000 OTE!
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm or 8:30am – 6:00pm – No Weekends!!
