Private Client Team - Probate Lawyer
We are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Probate Lawyer/Solicitor (1-4 years' PQE) to join our client within their established Private Client team in Dorset.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional looking to build their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, providing exceptional advice and support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to completion.
- Preparing and submitting applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
- Advising executors, administrators, trustees, and beneficiaries.
- Administering estates, including the collection and distribution of assets.
- Preparing estate accounts and related documentation.
- Advising on inheritance tax and related probate matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
About You
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Have a minimum of 1 years' PQE, or equivalent experience in probate and estate administration.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and client care skills.
- Be able to manage your own caseload efficiently.
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be proactive, personable, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
