Are you a natural salesperson looking for your next big move? You don't need insurance experience. You need drive, resilience, and a genuine track record of hitting targets and building relationships that stick.

Our client — an international insurance brokerage with a thriving local office in Poole — is looking for ambitious, high-performing sales professionals ready to step into a structured career path toward becoming a fully qualified Account Executive (Broker). Full training and mentoring will be provided; industry qualifications (CII) will be funded and supported throughout.

This is a genuine opportunity to move from a standard sales role into a respected, well-paid professional career with real longevity — commercial insurance broking offers some of the strongest long-term earning potential in the local sales market, backed by an uncapped commission structure once qualified.

What you'll be doing:

  • Learning the fundamentals of commercial insurance broking from experienced Account Executives
  • Building and managing your own pipeline of prospects and leads
  • Developing client relationships through calls, meetings and site visits
  • Progressing toward running your own book of business and closing new business instructions
  • Working toward CII qualifications with full company support

What we're looking for:

  • A proven track record in a target-driven sales environment (any industry — B2B experience is a strong plus)
  • Confidence building relationships and negotiating face-to-face and over the phone
  • Resilience, self-motivation, and genuine hunger to progress
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A full UK driving licence (client visits are part of the role)
  • Based within, or able to easily commute to, the Poole/Bournemouth/Christchurch area

What's in it for you:

  • A funded, structured career path into a professional broking/AE role
  • Full CII qualification support — no cost to you
  • Uncapped commission once established in the role
  • Mentoring from experienced Account Executives
  • Long-term career stability in a respected local firm within a national group
  • Supportive, collegiate team environment

Why apply:

This is a rare route into commercial insurance broking that doesn't require you to already be 'in insurance.' If you're already excellent at sales and want a career with a genuine ceiling higher than most, this is built for you.

Apply now — sales experience essential, insurance experience not required.
