What will the Group Financial Controller role involve?
- Lead the financial control and reporting activities for UK operations, while supporting reporting requirements across other group entities.
- Manage the month-end, year-end and statutory reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, providing meaningful insight to senior stakeholders.
- Drive cost control, inventory accounting and variance analysis, with exposure to standard costing where applicable.
- Act as a key finance partner to operational management, helping to manage expectations and support decision-making.
- Maintain a strong controls environment and coordinate relationships with auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of three direct reports, encouraging continuous improvement and accountability.
Suitable Candidate for the Group Financial Controller role:
