This is a key commercial finance position offering significant exposure to senior leadership across the business.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insight, challenging operational performance, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Working across multiple business functions, you'll act as a trusted finance partner, helping decision-makers understand financial performance and identify opportunities to improve results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational and commercial leaders to provide financial insight and performance challenge.
  • Deliver profitability analysis across products, customers, and business units.
  • Support strategic projects through detailed financial evaluation and investment appraisal.
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards to improve business visibility and decision-making.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through the analysis of financial and operational data.
  • Provide commercial support for pricing, margin improvement, and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of reporting tools, data quality, and analytical capabilities.
  • Support senior management with scenario modelling and business case development.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Previous experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering, or financial analysis.
  • Strong data analysis and financial modelling capabilities.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially astute with a genuine interest in understanding business performance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.

Desirable Experience

  • Manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or other operationally focused environments.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, or similar BI and reporting tools.
  • Exposure to ERP systems and performance reporting automation.
