Our Peterborough based client is looking for a highly organised Service Desk Controller to join them on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30 am – 5 pm on a rota basis. Opportunity to work from home, 1 day per week after successful probation.

As a Service Desk Controller, you'll be responsible for handling customer service requests, scheduling field engineers, coordinating parts, and ensuring maintenance and breakdown calls are managed efficiently to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities for the Service Desk Controller

  • Handle customer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Schedule field engineers and manage daily workloads.
  • Coordinate service calls, parts orders and job planning.
  • Raise invoices and maintain accurate service records.
  • Follow up quotations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Experience in service coordination, engineer scheduling or workshop planning.
