They are now looking for a proactive Service Administrator to support engineers, manage customer expectations, and ensure service work is completed efficiently and on time.
The day-to-day of this role includes:
- Scheduling and prioritising Field Service Engineers
- Coordinating emergency breakdowns and planned servicing
- Communicating with customers
- Monitoring work in progress
- Liaising with third-party service providers
- Ensuring service calls are completed in line with company KPIs
- Resolving scheduling issues
- Managing changing priorities
- Keeping accurate service records throughout the process
The ideal candidate will have experience within a service desk, scheduling, customer service or engineering support environment. You'll be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident communicating with both customers and engineers. Experience within engineering, plant, vehicles or capital equipment would be advantageous.
The role:
- Coordinate and schedule Field Service Engineers
- Customer liaison, workload planning and service coordination
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Rotating shift pattern between 7:30am - 5:00pm
The person:
- Experience in service scheduling, customer service or engineering support
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Engineering or technical industry experience desirable
