Are you an experienced Electrician, Electrical Installation Engineer or Fire & Security Engineer with a relevant NVQ 3 qualification looking to step off the tools and make a real difference by inspiring the next generation of industry professionals?

Based within a modern Construction Skills Centre, you'll play a key role in delivering industry-leading apprenticeship training across Electrical Installations. In this role, you'll deliver engaging practical and classroom-based teaching to apprentices and adult learners, supporting them to develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours required to succeed within the electrical and fire/security industries.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), have strong industry experience. Previous teaching experience is beneficial but not essential, as full teacher training can be provided.

The Role
- Deliver practical and classroom-based teaching across Electrical Installation and / or Fire & Security programmes
- Teach apprentices and adult learners within workshop and simulated industry environments
- Carry out learner assessments, progress reviews and provide ongoing mentoring
The Person
- Level 3 NVQ/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- Strong industry experience within Electrical Installation, Building Services or a related sector
- Knowledge or experience of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security Systems
- Passionate about developing others and keen to move into teaching
- Teaching qualification desirable but not essential (full training available)
