We are supporting an innovative automotive engineering and technology business in its search for a Contract Accountant to provide additional support during a busy year-end and reporting period.
This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, reconciliations, cost analysis, and supporting key accounting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review cut-off processes and reporting
- Trial balance reviews
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cost reporting and analysis
- Investigate financial discrepancies
- Fixed asset accounting, capitalisation and depreciation
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Support statutory accounts and allocations
- Analyse financial and salary data
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred, although strong QBE candidates will be considered
- Strong financial and management accounting experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to quickly integrate into an existing team and deliver results
