We're recruiting for an established independent automotive business in West Bromwich that is looking to add an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to its growing workshop team.
You'll be working on a wide variety of makes and models, carrying out servicing, repairs and more complex mechanical work.
The workshop already has strong coverage across diagnostics, electrics and routine servicing, so they're specifically looking for a strong mechanical Technician to complement the existing team.
Your duties will include
- Timing chain replacement
- Clutch replacement
- Engine repairs and mechanical work
- Turbo replacement and associated repairs
- Gearbox and drivetrain work
- Suspension and brake repairs
- General servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical fault-finding
- Strip-down and repair work
- Working across a wide variety of makes and models
You'll ideally have extensive experience with
- Timing chains
- Clutches
- Engine repairs
- Turbos
- Gearboxes
- Major mechanical repairs
This would suit a Technician who has progressed beyond routine servicing and enjoys tackling the bigger jobs that require experience, patience and proper mechanical knowledge.
Diagnostic and electrical experience is useful, but this is primarily a mechanical role.

- £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience
