Your new role involves playing a key role in the technical leadership and delivery of multidisciplinary building services projects from concept through to completion. You will lead electrical design activities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and help shape innovative engineering solutions for a broad portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading electrical building services design projects from inception to completion.
  • Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Producing and reviewing technical designs, calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • Supporting project delivery in line with programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Chairing design and coordination meetings with project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Utilising BIM and digital engineering tools to support project delivery.
  • Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior engineers.
  • Supporting commercial performance and project profitability.
  • Keeping up to date with current legislation, standards, and industry best practice.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A strong background in Electrical Building Services Design within a consultancy environment.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or be working towards Chartership through IET or CIBSE).
  • Experience delivering multidisciplinary building services projects within the UK.
  • Proficiency with BIM and digital design tools, with Revit MEP experience highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to lead teams and manage multiple project priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and a track record of delivering technically excellent engineering solutions.
