- Description
- Lead audit assignments for SMEs, owner-managed businesses and group structures from planning through to completion
- Deliver statutory audits alongside accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, developing strong and trusted relationships
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK GAAP
- Support clients with day-to-day queries, providing practical and commercial advice
- Supervise and review work prepared by junior staff, providing guidance and technical support
- Assist with corporation tax computations and compliance work
- Manage multiple client deadlines, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance
- Support managers and partners on more complex audit and advisory assignments
- Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong background in audit within practice, with exposure to SMEs and OMB clients
- Experience leading audits and managing client relationships
- Good technical knowledge across audit, accounts preparation and compliance
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Experience with sole traders and smaller business clients advantageous
