Our client, a highly respected and award-winning organisation, is seeking a Third Party Motor Claims Handler to join their growing team in Norwich.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by achieving results while delivering exceptional service.

As a Third Party Capture Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for contacting claimants involved in road traffic accidents with the company's policyholders.

Your objective will be to provide a seamless claims experience by introducing the services available to them, managing vehicle damage claims, and arranging replacement vehicles or alternative settlement solutions where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and progress a portfolio of claims efficiently to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Communicate with claimants and other relevant parties via telephone and email.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with approved suppliers and partners to initiate and progress claims.
  • Identify opportunities to promote available services and prevent claimants from seeking alternative providers.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and confidently.
  • Make informed decisions and resolve queries in a timely manner.

About You

Previous experience within motor insurance, claims handling, credit hire, customer service, contact centres, or financial services would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

  • Working Hours
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Rotating shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
  • Minimum of one late shift per week (12:00pm to 8:00pm).
  • One in four Saturdays (8:00am to 1:00pm) with time off in lieu during the week.
  • Hybrid working available once competency has been achieved.
