The Opportunity
This role is ideally suited to someone with at least 12 months' experience in Private Client law who is looking to take the next step in their career.
You will play an active role in supporting the department while developing your own technical knowledge and client-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking instructions from clients on a range of Private Client matters.
- Drafting Wills and supporting fee earners with estate planning matters.
- Meeting with clients both in person and over the telephone.
- Assisting with the administration of estates and probate matters.
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence.
- Managing client files and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties in a professional manner.
- Providing administrative and legal support to the wider Private Client team.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have
- A minimum of 12 months' experience within a Private Client department.
- Experience taking client instructions and drafting Wills.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in Private Client law.
