This well-established engineering company specialises in the service, maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial and mobile plant equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to their field service team covering customer sites across the North West.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and installations on a range of mechanical and electrical plant equipment. The position will also involve fabrication work and welding repairs, so experience in these areas would be highly beneficial.

The company requires flexibility around shift patterns and working hours, but provides excellent overtime opportunities and door-to-door pay.

The Role:

  • Service, maintain, and repair mobile and industrial plant equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Carry out fabrication and welding repairs where required
  • Travel to customer sites across Manchester and surrounding areas
