The Role
This is a varied and hands-on accounting role within a collaborative team.
You'll take responsibility for key financial activities within this business, helping to ensure the accounts are accurate, timely and well managed.
- Accountant
Key Responsibilities - Preparing monthly management accounts
- Producing profit and loss accounts for a high-turnover business division
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns and quarter-end reporting
- Providing financial analysis and management information
- Supporting operational departments with financial guidance
- Assisting with system improvements and ad hoc finance projects
Who This Role Would Suit
We're keen to hear from candidates who have solid accounting experience, whether gained through hands-on experience in a similar role.
You may be:
- Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- AAT qualified, part-qualified or studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Newly qualified or experienced in your accounting career
You'll likely
- Have experience producing management accounts and supporting month-end processes
- Enjoy taking ownership of your work and seeing tasks through to completion
- Be comfortable analysing financial data and identifying trends
- Have strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Be a team player who enjoys building relationships across the business
