We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join our busy team in Snailwell (Cambridgeshire, England), where your energy, initiative and consultative sales approach will directly drive growth.

Hours of Work: full time
Duties:
- You will deliver sales growth across both new and existing business within your defined geographical area.
- Build trust with customers and manufacturers, adopting a consultative approach to recommend solutions for industrial control and automation challenges.
- Maintain a strong presence in the BPX branch to keep close to the local market.
- Support marketing activity (campaigns, promotions and events).
- Develop your technical and commercial knowledge to strengthen both customer outcomes and long-term account performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with knowledge of the industrial distribution market.
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities across new and existing accounts and partnerships.
- Understanding of the relationships and market dynamics between manufacturers, distributors and customers.
- Strong relationship-building skills with confident communication and genuine teamwork.
- Customer-centric mindset: able to spot challenges, then present practical, value-led solutions.
