The Role
As an Accounts Senior, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients while providing a high standard of accounting and tax services.
Working closely with managers and partners, you'll play a key role in supporting clients and helping junior team members develop.
Responsibilities include
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- Managing your own portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing practical advice and responding to day-to-day queries.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service.
- Liaising with HMRC and other third parties where required.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members when appropriate.
- Working collaboratively across the practice to deliver an excellent client experience.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing accounts for SMEs, sole traders and partnerships.
- Experience preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- The ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
