The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing their own caseload of property litigation matters, working closely with colleagues across the firm, and supporting wider departmental objectives.
- You will manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including:
- Boundary disputes
- Ownership disputes and TOLATA claims
- Residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Possession proceedings
- Easement disputes, including rights of way, rights to light, and usage issues
- Dilapidation claims
- Land ownership disputes
- Leasehold extension matters
- Business tenancy matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
Business Development
The successful candidate will also play an active role in developing the firm's property litigation offering by:
- Attending networking events and building professional relationships
- Developing new sources of work and referral opportunities
- Supporting marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Enhancing the firm's social media presence
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to identify cross-referral opportunities and raise the profile of the department
About You
Applications are welcomed from those with at least three years of experience; you must also be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or FCILEx
- Experience in property litigation, civil litigation, or property law
