Elevation Recruitment are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (mechanical bias) to join one of our Manufacturing Clients based in the Mirfield, West Yorkshire area.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Location: Mirfield, West Yorkshire

Hours: Continental shift pattern – 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Electrical and Mechanical support to both production and equipment at all times
  • Creating a concise log of events whilst doing all aspects of role including failure reports and PPM's
  • Always working to a continuous improvement plan to make the company and its employees the best it can be
  • Ensure you are always compliant to health and safety standards
  • Fault finding will be a part of the daily role
  • Mechanical maintenance duties
  • Attending to breakdowns and working to ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance daily on machinery such as shredding machines, pulling machines, large ovens, guillotines, packaging machinery and inverters
  • General fault-finding skills for repetitive breakdowns

Desired Experience:

  • Must have a strong background within Mechanical maintenance engineering with electrical knowledge
  • Apprentice trained with NVQ Level or equivalent in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
  • Ideally have experience within a manufacturing environment previously
  • Must have experience of fault finding

This role is commutable from Wakefield, Leeds, Barnsley, Bradford, Huddersfield.
