The Role
We are recruiting for a Physiotherapist to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Milton Keynes.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Physiotherapist or newly qualified Physiotherapist with a particular interest in neurology and rehabilitation.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with a range of progressive and acquired neurological conditions, delivering rehabilitation and maintenance programmes tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan and deliver individualised physiotherapy programmes.
- Support rehabilitation and maintenance programmes for residents with complex neurological conditions.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of patients' rehabilitation needs.
- Support and supervise Therapy Technicians, Therapy Assistants and students where appropriate.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, safeguarding and patient care.
- Participate in continuing professional development and training.
About You
We are interested in hearing from Physiotherapists who have
- HCPC registration.
- A genuine interest in neurology and neurorehabilitation.
- Experience within rehabilitation, or a strong interest in developing within this area.
- Experience of tracheostomy care is desirable.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach.
- The ability to work effectively with individuals with complex and progressive conditions.
Newly qualified Physiotherapists with a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation are also encouraged to apply.
