Duties
- Carry out high-quality panel repairs on damaged vehicles
- Remove and replace damaged body panels and components
- Repair steel and aluminium panels using approved methods
- Realign vehicle body structures and chassis as needed
- Utilise welding and specialist body repair equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare repaired panels for the paint process to ensure a quality finish
- Identify additional damage or repair requirements during the repair process
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair centre or bodyshop environment
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques
- Experience working with steel and aluminium panels
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality repairs
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment
- ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
