We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-franchise dealership in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.
This Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians to advance their careers within a modern, manufacturer-backed workshop.

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and advanced repairs to manufacturer standards
- Complete electronic Vehicle Health Checks (e VHCs)
- Ensure all repairs are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Maintain accurate workshop documentation
- Support colleagues with technical guidance where required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Keep technical skills current through ongoing manufacturer training
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- EV qualification advantageous but not essential (training available)
- Minimum two years' workshop experience
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work
