Crowe Watson Recruitment is representing a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Mansfield in their search for an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join their growing tax team. What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of private clients, including HNW individuals and trusts
  • Provide proactive tax planning advice, including IHT, CGT, and residency matters
  • Review tax returns and computations prepared by junior team members
  • Liaise directly with clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Mentor and support the development of junior members of the tax team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of private client tax matters
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy portfolio
