About the Company

We're currently seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join a leading water and environmental services provider in the North West.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in water hygiene who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a growing and supportive business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of water hygiene services across commercial and public sector sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Salary & Benefits

  • £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Temperature monitoring and recording
  • Water sampling and analysis
  • Tank cleans and disinfections
  • TMV servicing and maintenance
  • Mains chlorination
  • Showerhead cleaning and descaling
  • Completing accurate service reports and relevant documentation
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and industry standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or within a plumbing role
  • Knowledge of ACo P L8 and HSG 274
  • Good understanding of water hygiene and legionella control
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel across the North West
