An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transaction Services Director / Associate Director to join a highly regarded and growing Corporate Finance team in Manchester.
This is a senior appointment for an experienced Transaction Services professional with a strong background in financial due diligence, who is looking to take the next step in their career within a growing and ambitious advisory business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and growing the Transaction Services offering, while working closely with Partners, Directors and senior stakeholders across the wider Corporate Finance team.
- What you will be doing as a Transaction Services Director / Associate Director
- Leading and managing financial due diligence assignments across a range of transactions.
- Advising corporate and strategic buyers, private equity and other financial investors, as well as vendors.
- Supporting clients throughout acquisitions, disposals, sale processes and other significant corporate transactions.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, management teams, private equity houses and other key stakeholders.
- Playing a key role in business development, identifying opportunities and supporting the growth of the Transaction Services offering.
- Working closely with Partners and Directors on pitches, proposals and new business opportunities.
- Managing, coaching and developing junior members of the Transaction Services team.
- Providing commercially focused insights and analysis to support clients in making informed transaction decisions.
- Developing sector expertise and contributing to the wider Corporate Finance proposition.
- Where relevant, supporting reporting accountant and capital markets assignments.
- What you will need to succeed as a Transaction Services Director / Associate Director
- ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working within a Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or Corporate Finance team.
- Strong experience delivering financial due diligence for private equity, financial buyers, corporate/strategic buyers and/or vendors.
- Previous management and team leadership experience.
- A strong understanding of financial statements, business performance and transaction-related analysis.
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical advice.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence operating at senior stakeholder level.
- Experience contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Experience of capital markets and reporting accountant work would be advantageous.
