Tax Director — The Role

As Tax Director, you will take a lead role in the delivery of personal tax advisory services, working closely with partners and clients to provide high-quality, commercially focused advice.

You'll be working with a genuinely diverse and interesting client portfolio — from high-net-worth individuals through to complex personal tax matters with an international dimension.

This is a role with real scope for influence, both in terms of client relationships and the continued development of the personal tax offering.

Responsibilities will include

  • Leading and delivering complex personal tax advisory work across a varied client base
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Supporting business development and identifying opportunities to grow the personal tax portfolio
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team
  • Working collaboratively with partners and colleagues across the firm's multiple offices

  • Significant personal tax advisory experience gained within a practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of personal tax matters
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships at a senior level
  • Experience of leading and developing a team
  • Commercially minded, with an appetite to contribute to the growth of the practice
