Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller for a growing retail brand, currently going through the next phase of transformation strategy to ensure the best customer experience.

The Financial Controller will have great visibility to the senior leadership team and have a significant impact on the finance transformation and development of an already strong team.

You will have the ability add value from day one and input to the strategic direction of the department.

  • Financial Controller
  • Work in partnership with both the controllership and commercial teams
  • Lead on the development of the reporting structure, feeding in to group
  • Drive continuous improvement around data and use of ERP systems
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team on the finance strategy
  • Have a strong focus on team development
  • Previous management of retail property / lease and property disposal
  • Experience in a fast moving organisation, and passion for transformation

The Financial Controller will have a strong background in financial reporting, with a focus on property portfolio development.

You will drive improvement around technical requirements, quarterly & yearly reporting and facing off to key stakeholders.

You will be qualified ( ACA / ACCA) either from practice with a number of years industry experience, or come up through industry with a strong technical reporting and commercial background having been a key contributor to continuous improvement.

You will be able to challenge, influence and lead change, moving away from long standing ways of working to innovate and enhance the capabilities of finance and wider functions.

£75k - £90k DOE + Benefits (Hybrid)
