The Role
Working within the Business Services team, you'll support a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services while building strong, long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities will include
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing corporation tax computations
- Producing management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments
- Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on client relationships
- Identifying opportunities to add value for clients
- Representing the firm at networking and business development events
- Supporting the continued growth of the Manchester office
About You
We're looking for someone with personality, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for working with clients.
You'll ideally have
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be Qualified by Experience)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts for a range of business clients
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
- Confidence meeting clients and attending networking events
- A genuine ambition to develop your career
