Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a friendly, close-knit accountancy firm in the recruitment of a Junior/Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team across their Greater Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified professional looking to broaden their experience across accounts and tax within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role will have a stronger focus on accounts preparation and tax across a varied client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
- Prepare VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts for a varied client base
- Assist with corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
- Build strong relationships with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
- Work closely with Managers and Director across a broad range of assignments
Key Requirements
- AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified
- Minimum 2+ years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Knowledge of FRS102 and FRS105
- Experience with software including CCH, Xero, Sage, and Excel
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive and client-focused approach
