An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well established and expanding private client team. You will take over an existing caseload of high quality private client matters, advising a diverse client base including high net worth individuals, families and business owners. Your workload will include trust administration, tax planning, probate and estate administration, complex inheritance tax matters, the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, together with the opportunity to undertake Court of Protection work where appropriate.
Alongside managing your own caseload, you will play a key role in the continued growth and development of the private client department, making this an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career.
Applications are sought from Private Client Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and extensive experience handling a broad range of private client matters. You will possess strong technical expertise across trust administration, tax planning, probate, estate administration, wills and lasting powers of attorney, together with experience advising on more complex inheritance tax matters. STEP qualification, or a willingness to work towards it, would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, proactive and confident managing complex matters independently, with excellent communication and client care skills and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional legal advice.
