An established international organisation is seeking a Group Financial Accounting Manager to join its senior finance leadership team.

This is a highly visible appointment within a complex multi entity environment, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence financial governance, reporting standards and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed team of finance professionals.
  • Oversee financial accounting activities across multiple legal entities and international locations.
  • Manage monthly close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting into group consolidation.
  • Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting quality and month end efficiencies.
  • Lead statutory reporting activities and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external audit processes and coordinate relationships with auditors across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain oversight of tax compliance, governance and financial control frameworks.
  • Review balance sheet risks and opportunities, providing meaningful insight to senior leadership.
  • Support corporate projects including acquisitions, disposals and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to finance and non-finance stakeholders across the organisation.
