Your new role

As an Employment Tax Senior Manager, you will work closely with local tax partners and the national Workforce Advisory group to deliver a wide range of employment tax services.

Supporting clients of all sizes - from owner-managed businesses and listed groups to regional and national charities - you will be involved in both compliance and advisory work.

Your role will include

  • Conducting employer compliance reviews and internal audit/health checks
  • Advising on worker status, IR35 and employment tax risk management
  • Supporting due diligence projects
  • Managing Class 1A NIC, P11D and benefit reporting
  • Advising on expenses, benefits and remuneration planning (including share schemes, bonuses and salary sacrifice)
  • Working with clients on CIS obligations
  • Assisting with statutory forms, including share scheme and employment-related securities submissions

You will also support business development initiatives, helping the team to identify opportunities and generate new work, while collaborating with colleagues in tax, audit and corporate finance.

  • What you'll need to succeed
  • ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant employment tax experience across both compliance and advisory projects
  • Strong client service ethos and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Ideally, a track record of generating new opportunities or developing client relationships
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial information accurately
  • A commitment to developing others through coaching, feedback and on-the-job learning
  • An ability to manage risk, maintain quality and deliver work efficiently and accurately
  • A positive attitude towards change, personal development and continuous improvement
