My client is a long established and fiercely independent Manchester based insurance broker with a professional yet friendly culture.

Employing circa thirty people and based in prestigious offices in the heart of the city centre they enjoy low staff turnover and provide an environment where drive, passion and client care are key values across the business.

Despite their size and boasting a reputation as one of the top city brokers they remain autonomous and independent in terms of insurer relationships and trading.

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and technically competent broker to assume this key appointment within the corporate broking team.

Your responsibilities will be centred around supporting a team of Account Executives managing clients in the mid corporate arena, working across a diverse range of industries.

Dealing with both new business and renewals you will be responsible for sourcing solutions for new customers whilst providing a high standard of customer service to a long standing and valuable client base.

Taking referrals from less experienced members of the team and coaching and mentoring them with their development will also be an important part of your role.

Applicants must come from a cross class broking background and have previous exposure to dealing with customers paying premiums in the region of £40,000 to £500,000.

Essentially you with have strong technical knowledge combined with a customer centric approach, and the ability to work as part of a team to achieve key business goals.
