Are you a CAD Technician with experience using AutoCAD 3D looking to join an international specialist in power generation where you'll work on innovative low-carbon energy projects while benefiting from hybrid working, ongoing training and excellent career progression?

This international engineering company has been delivering specialist power generation and energy solutions for over 35 years. Supporting industrial and public sector clients, they design, manufacture, install and service low-carbon power generation and battery storage systems, helping organisations improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions and achieve their net zero goals through innovative engineering solutions.

In this role, you will produce detailed 3D engineering drawings for power generation and MEP projects, working closely with Design Engineers, Project Managers and wider engineering teams. You will prepare design layouts, develop accurate AutoCAD models, maintain drawing revision control, integrate topographical surveys and produce setting out plans.

This role would suit a CAD Technician or similar with experience using AutoCAD 3D, looking to develop their career with a growing international business offering hybrid working and long-term progression.

The Role:

  • Produce detailed 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD MEP
  • Prepare design layouts, setting out plans and engineering documentation
  • Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers on power generation projects
  • Maintain drawing revisions, CAD libraries and technical documentation
  • Hybrid working with up to 2 days per week from home
