As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of AV equipment, helping to ensure events are delivered smoothly and to a high professional standard.
Your responsibilities will include
- Setting up and operating AV equipment for live, hybrid and virtual conferences and events.
- Operating camera, video and IT equipment.
- Supporting live streaming and virtual event productions.
- Working with Blackmagic ATEM systems.
- Editing and delivering video footage to a high standard, preferably using Da Vinci Resolve.
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and event crews before and during events.
- Preparing, testing and maintaining AV equipment.
- Driving company vehicles to event locations.
We are looking for an experienced AV professional with a background in the corporate live events sector.
You will ideally have
- Experience working in live corporate events.
- Strong camera, video and IT skills.
- Experience with live streaming and ideally Blackmagic ATEM.
- Experience with video editing software, preferably Da Vinci Resolve.
- Excellent knowledge of Power Point, Keynote, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- The ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- A professional appearance and manner.
- A flexible, positive and can-do attitude.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
Applicants must be based locally to the Manchester area.
Working Hours
The standard working pattern is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm.
Due to the nature of the live events industry, flexibility is essential. Some evening, early morning and weekend work will be required depending on the event schedule.
