Pro Finance is working with one of Kent's most established and highly regarded accountancy practices to recruit an Audit Semi Senior for its rapidly growing Audit team in Maidstone.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA or ACCA professional looking to develop their career within a firm that offers exposure to high-quality clients, including AIM-listed businesses, large corporate groups and ambitious owner-managed companies.

The Maidstone office is continuing to grow at an impressive rate, creating genuine opportunities for progression and increased responsibility.

This role would suit an ambitious auditor looking to gain exposure to larger, more complex assignments while working closely with experienced Managers and Partners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

  • Assist with the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments
  • Work directly with a diverse portfolio of corporate and owner-managed business clients
  • Prepare audit testing, working papers and supporting documentation
  • Review financial statements and accounting records
  • Identify audit risks and areas requiring further investigation
  • Support the delivery of high-quality audit reports and client recommendations
  • Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted day-to-day contact
  • Monitor progress against audit budgets and deadlines
  • Work closely with Managers and Partners across a range of engagements
  • Support and mentor more junior members of the team where appropriate

About You

  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified and actively studying
  • Previous external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice
  • Experience working with corporate clients would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of UK accounting principles and audit processes
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Case Ware would be beneficial but not essential
  • Ambitious and motivated to continue developing your career
