The Role

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will take on a varied and hands on role, working across both audit and accounts assignments. You will manage your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners on larger engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients
  • Working with owner managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients
  • Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant regulations

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification
  • Strong experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice
  • Good technical knowledge and a proactive approach
  • Confident communicator with strong client facing skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
