This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established specialist engineering and certification business with over 30 years of experience in machinery safety.
The company works across machinery compliance, certification and management systems, supporting clients across a range of manufacturing sectors.
You will work at a senior level across a diverse range of machinery safety projects, providing technical expertise around machinery compliance, safe machine design and CE/UKCA requirements.
The role offers plenty of variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work on complex machinery while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
The position is based from the Macclesfield office with regular UK travel and occasional international travel.

The Role
- Carry out machinery safety inspections and provide technical support on safe machine design and compliance.
- Advise clients on CE/UKCA marking, machinery legislation and relevant C-Type standards.
- Draft and review technical files and support machinery compliance assessments.
- Provide training on machinery safety and contribute to wider accreditation and compliance activities.
- Work across a variety of complex machinery projects within different manufacturing sectors.
- The Person
- 10+ years' experience within machinery safety, machinery compliance or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience working with complex and potentially hazardous machinery across manufacturing environments.
- Mechanical Engineering degree required, with Electrical Engineering experience also considered.
- Strong knowledge of CE/UKCA compliance, machinery legislation, C-Type standards and technical documentation.
- Hands-on engineering background in design, development, engineering management or maintenance.
- Strong first-principles approach, excellent attention to detail and confident communication skills.
