Are you a recent Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate looking to start your career in a professional project management role within a technical engineering environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established notified body as a Graduate Project Coordinator, where you will receive extensive training and learn how technical projects are managed from start to finish. You don't need previous engineering experience - we're looking for a graduate with the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and clients across the UK, Europe and the US, supporting a range of machinery safety, compliance and inspection projects. The role will give you a strong foundation in project coordination and project management, while allowing you to develop your understanding of the machinery safety and compliance industry. This opportunity is specifically suited to a graduate at the beginning of their career who wants to join a specialist engineering business, learn how it operates and build their career in project management. Your degree gives you the technical foundation; your organisation, communication and ability to manage priorities will be key to your success.

The role:

  • Coordinating machinery safety, compliance and inspection projects from enquiry through to completion
  • Supporting engineers and clients with project schedules, documentation and requirements
  • Managing priorities, deadlines and project records across multiple projects
  • Learning the company's processes, services and technical environment through structured training

The Person:

  • Recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Some previous work experience alongside or after your degree - this does not need to be engineering-based
  • Strong organisation, time management and ability to prioritise
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and following instructions and established processes
  • Looking to start and build a career in project coordination/project management within a technical engineering environment
