Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Acute Inpatient Physiotherapist to join a busy NHS hospital service in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to patients across a varied acute caseload.
The postholder will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients within acute medical, surgical, and elderly care wards. You will play a key role in discharge planning, mobility assessments, and promoting patient independence and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with acute and complex conditions
- Work across acute medical, surgical, and elderly care wards
- Contribute to discharge planning and onward referrals
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Support junior staff and students where required
Requirements
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 6–12 months' UK NHS experience
- Previous experience working in an acute inpatient setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
