A highly regarded international accounting and advisory firm is seeking a US/UK Tax Senior Manager to join its growing Private Client team in London.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced cross-border tax professional to step into a senior leadership role within a well-established practice that advises US-connected individuals, international families, entrepreneurs, executives and high-net-worth clients across a wide range of complex tax matters.

The Opportunity You will take ownership of a significant portfolio of US and UK private clients, overseeing both compliance and advisory work while acting as a trusted advisor to clients and intermediaries.
The role is ideally suited to an individual with strong dual-handling experience across both US and UK personal tax, who enjoys managing complex client relationships and delivering practical advice on a broad range of international tax issues.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play an important role in developing the practice, mentoring junior team members and helping drive the firm's continued growth in the international private client market.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of complex US and UK private clients.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of US and UK personal tax returns.
- Advising clients on a wide range of cross-border tax matters.
- Providing guidance on residency, domicile, international mobility, estate planning and wealth structuring.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional advisors.
- Leading and mentoring Managers, Assistant Managers and more junior team members.
- Supporting Partners and Directors on complex advisory assignments.
- Identifying planning opportunities and delivering value-added advice.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and helping expand the client base.
About You
- Significant experience within US and UK private client tax.
- Demonstrable dual-handling experience covering both US and UK personal tax compliance and advisory work.
- Strong technical knowledge of the issues affecting US citizens living abroad and internationally mobile individuals.
- Experience managing complex client relationships and leading engagement teams.
- Proven ability to review work and develop junior staff.
- EA, ATT, CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ambition and capability to progress into a Director-level position.
