Technical Services & Systems Assurance Lead
London | Hybrid | £55,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits
A highly regarded London Market Insurance Broker is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services & Systems Assurance Lead to join its Operations function.

This is a unique opportunity for a Technical Services professional who enjoys combining their London Market processing expertise with systems, process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Working closely with Technical, Broking and Operations teams, you'll become the go-to expert for the firm's core policy processing platform, driving best practice, resolving technical queries and supporting the ongoing development of key business systems.

The Role
Acting as the subject matter expert for the firm's primary policy processing system, you'll support users across the business while helping to improve operational efficiency, system functionality and technical processes.

Key responsibilities include

  • Become the technical expert for the firm's policy processing system, providing first-line support and guidance to Technical and Broking teams.
  • Assist with risk loading, issue resolution, ticket management and system troubleshooting, working closely with internal stakeholders and external system providers.
  • Support system administration, including user configuration, template management and maintenance of system settings.
  • Play a key role in system upgrades, testing, enhancements and change management, ensuring new functionality is implemented successfully.
  • Develop and promote best practice across Technical Services, delivering user training, documentation and procedural guidance where required.
  • Monitor technical processing standards, support quality assurance initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement across the business.
  • Build strong relationships with Operations, Technical Services, Broking teams and third-party providers to ensure efficient processing and system performance.

About You
We're looking for someone with a strong background in London Market Technical Services who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and supporting colleagues.

You'll ideally have

  • Extensive London Market Technical Processing experience gained within a Broker or Managing Agent.
  • Strong knowledge of Open TWINS, or experience using comparable London Market policy administration systems.
  • Excellent understanding of London Market processing, technical documentation and policy workflows.
  • Experience supporting system users, resolving technical issues and driving process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in systems, technology and operational excellence.
