The Opportunity
This is a dual role, combining team leadership responsibilities with hands-on Executive Assistant support to Partners and senior stakeholders within the Real Estate & Projects team. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised and confident working in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include:
- Manage and support a team of Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants, creating a positive and supportive team environment
- Manage performance reviews, provide feedback, identify training needs and support the development of team members
- Oversee workloads and fee earner/EA allocations, ensuring the team is appropriately resourced and adequate cover is maintained
- Manage team rotas, holidays, sickness and other absences, working closely with Partners and HR where required
- Act as a key point of contact for Business Services teams and assist with recruitment, onboarding, inductions and leaver processes
- Support the implementation and use of new technology and systems across the team
- Provide Executive Assistant support to Partners and fee earners as required
- Support projects and change initiatives, including testing new processes and providing feedback to senior management
This Team Leader / Executive Assistant position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Requirements
- Previous Legal PA/EA experience within a law firm is essential
- Proven line management and performance management experience is required
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
