We Do Group is supporting a fast-growing, technology-led organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Manager into its expanding finance function. We're looking for an experienced Financial Control or Record to Report leader who enjoys improving processes, developing high-performing teams and delivering best-in-class financial reporting within a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and will play a key role in shaping the future of the accounting function as the business continues to scale.

The Role
The successful Senior Finance Manager will lead the following:
- Owning the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, delivering meaningful analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders
- Maintaining robust balance sheet controls, reconciliations and governance across the finance function
- Leading the Record to Report process, developing capability, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement
- Driving improvements to financial controls, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
- Identifying opportunities to streamline, standardise and automate finance processes
- Supporting ERP enhancements, finance transformation initiatives and wider systems projects
- Working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders to improve reporting quality and business insight
- Supporting internal and external audit processes and acting as the key finance contact throughout
- Helping build a scalable, AI and automation optimised, finance function capable of supporting continued business growth
Your Profile
We are looking for a technically strong finance leader who enjoys combining operational excellence with continuous improvement. You'll be someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys challenging existing processes and has the ability to build credibility with stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will combine excellent attention to detail with strong leadership skills, taking pride in developing people while delivering high-quality financial reporting in a fast-moving environment. Experience within a corporate environment operating best practice and blue chip standards would be advantageous, as would exposure to growing mid size businesses.
